Jean-Vallier  married  Josephte MERCIER 18 January 1757 in Berthier-sur-Mer, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 13 children.
Josephte MERCIER  was born 13 May 1738 in Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud).  Josephte died 7 December 1809 in Saint-Vallier, Québec, Canada.  Josephte was the child of Julien MERCIER and Agnès MEUNIER.

Jean-Vallier ROY died 21 April 1812 in Saint-Vallier, Lower Canada.
