Jean-François  married  Marguerite PARÉ 6 February 1758 in Saint-Sulpice, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Marguerite PARÉ  was born 18 September 1738 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Marguerite died 4 April 1790 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marguerite was the child of Pierre PARÉ and Charlotte DUFAULT.

Jean-François  married  (2) Marie-Anne BOUCHER 7 June 1791 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .  Marie-Anne BOUCHER  was born 31 March 1753 in Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Anne died 30 September 1807 in St-Pierre-du-Portage, L'Assomption Canada.  Marie-Anne was the child of Étienne BOUCHER dit DESROSIERS and Marie-Marguerite FRÉCHETTTE (FRÉCHET).

Jean-François CHEVALIER died 28 August 1796 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .
