Biography
'John Wood, alias Atwood, came to Plymouth 1635-6, evidently with his uncle' (I believe it was his father) ', John Atwood.' He was admitted as a freeman in 1647, along with his brothers, Stephen and Henry. 'In 1648, they received a joint grant of land...John settled in Plympton, the part now Carver.'
