Samuel Leonard - was born in 1643 in Duxbury, Massachusetts and died about 1720 in Plymouth, Massachusetts . He was the son of John Solomon Leonard and Sarah Chandler.

Samuel married Abigail Wood in 1674. Abigail was born about 1655. She was the daughter of John Atwood and Sarah Masterson.

Abigail - It is interesting to note that Abigail's surname is shown as WOOD whereas her father's surname is shown as ATWOOD. (ADH Sr.)

'Samuel Leonard (Solomon) 1643-1720. He and Abigail removed from Plymouth to Worcester, where Samuel Jr. was an Indian captive for a time, then to Norwalk, Connecticut.'
