Jean-Baptiste  married  Madeleine GUELTE 29 October 1780 in Saint-Sulpice, Province of Québec, Canada .  Madeleine GUELTE  was born 24 July 1761 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Madeleine died 31 January 1821 in Saint-Ours, Québec, Canada (Immaculée-Conception).  Madeleine was the child of Pierre-Georges GUELTE and Marie-Charlotte BOULAY (BOULET).

Jean-Baptiste LAURENCE died 9 August 1823 in Montréal, Lower Canada .
