JASCOB Virginia Virginia Jascob, 89 years, of Temperance, MI, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 in Hickory Ridge of Temperance. A Registered Nurse she had worked at Riverside Hospital and for Dr. Norman Fisher retiring in 1984. The daughter of Stanley and Josephine (Niemczyk) Zaremba she was born June 8, 1922 in Toledo. She served as a nurse in the U.S. Army during WWII. November 25, 1961 she married Edward 'Jim' Jascob in St. Hedwig Church in Toledo. He preceded her in death in 1996. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance where she had served as secretary of the Mt. Carmel Keenagers and was a member of the Resurrection Choir. Virginia was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a great sister. She is survived by her loving sons, David (Cyndi) Jascob and John Jascob; grand-children, Alexandria (Joshua) Bell, Amber (Ken) Bomar, and great-grandson, Darren Sulzer; brothers, Chester (Lola) Zaremba, Edward Zaremba, and...Read full story
