1937 - 2015 BRATTLEBORO - Kenneth Joseph Bellville died peacefully in his sleep on March 18, 2015. He was 90 years old. Ken was born in St. Albans, Vermont on June 16, 1924. In 1937 thefamily moved to Brattleboro where he attended high school. He served his country in the Navy during World War II. He married Alberta Magoon on January 27, 1945 in South Mills, N.C.. Later, the couple moved to Green Street where they spent the rest of their lives until age limitations necessitated a change. The couple had five children; Peter of Galt, CA, Gail Lamson (who preceded him in death), Jan of Brattleboro, VT, Lynn McCarty of Lodi, CA, and Jeffery of Brattleboro, VT. He is survived by his four remaining children, and his wife of 70 years. MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Atamaniuk Funeral Home, 40 Terrace Street, Brattleboro, VT, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Christ Church Cemetery in Guilford, Vt.
