Louis  married  Madeleine TALBOT dite GERVAIS 2 July 1753 in Berthier-sur-Mer, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Madeleine TALBOT dite GERVAIS  was born 10 June 1734 in Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  Madeleine died 6 April 1813 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Madeleine was the child of Jean TALBOT dit GERVAIS and Barbe FORTIN.

Louis CHARTIER died 17 February 1816 in Repentigny, Lower Canada .
