LOLA B. OWENSBY Oct 18, 1924 - Apr 5, 2004 Known as 'Pepper' to Selma High School and Fresno State College friends, Lola Browe Owensby died on Monday, April 5, 2004, after having lived with cancer for two and a half years. She and her late husband Ed considered the greatest achievement of their lives the three daughters and son who survive her: Jean Owensby, Laurel Slater, Nan Barker, and Lincoln Owensby. Also surviving are their spouses, Daniel Slater and Tracy Owensby; grandchildren, Hannah and Allison Slater, Christine and Kyle Barker, and Elliott, Dylan and Chloe Owensby; Lola's 102 year old mother, Gladys Rowland; sisters, Dorothy Moranda, Marian Allison, and Norma Bohl; half brother, Gene Browe, Jr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
