Firmin CYR was the child of Charles CYR   and   Marguerite GAUTROT (GAUTREAU) and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Louis CYR (SIRE) and Marie Josephte MICHEL (maternal)  François GAUTROT (GAUDREAU) and Marie Anne VINCENT

He married  Marie-Josephte CONSTANTINEAU 24 April 1786 in Nicolet, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child. Marie-Josephte CONSTANTINEAU  was born 2 July 1766 in Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean-Baptiste) .  She died 28 May 1801 in Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean-Baptiste) .  She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste CONSTANTINEAU and Jeanne LEFEBVRE dite DESCÔTEAUX.

Firmin CYR died 12 November 1797 in Nicolet, Lower Canada .
