Marguerite ARCHAMBAULT  was born 13 January 1732 in Boucherville, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Famille-de-Boucherville).  Marguerite died 12 February 1753 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marguerite was the child of Jacques ARCHAMBAULT and Marie-Marguerite LOISEAU.

Jean-Louis  married  (2) Marie-Catherine MARCIL 5 August 1754 in Repentigny, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Marie-Catherine MARCIL  was born 4 March 1732 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marie-Catherine died 10 March 1767 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marie-Catherine was the child of André MARCIL (MARSIL) and Marie-Catherine CHRISTIN dite ST-AMOUR.

Jean-Louis  married  (3) Therese JANSON dite LAPALME 16 November 1767 in L'Assomption, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 3 children.
Therese JANSON dite LAPALME  was born abt. 1737 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Therese was the child of Christophe JANSON dit LAPALME and Marie-Madeleine GAUTHIER dite LANDREVILLE.

Jean-Louis BAZINET dit TOURBLANCHE died 20 September 1798 in Joliette, Lower Canada .

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
