Jean  married  Marthe CLOUTIER 11 May 1750 in Lauzon, Lévis, Canada, New France .  Marthe CLOUTIER  was born 23 April 1723 in L'Islet, Québec, Canada (L'Islet-sur-Mer) (Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours).  Marthe died 12 March 1790 in Montmagny, Québec, Canada (Saint-Thomas) (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire).  Marthe was the child of Guillaume CLOUTIER and Marie-Anne PELLETIER.

Jean FONTAINE died 26 November 1795 in St-Pierre-Montmagny, Canada.
