Nicolas  married  Marie-Louise DURAND 12 January 1778 in Lanoraie, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Louise DURAND  was born 20 June 1757 in La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas, Québec, Canada (Isle Dupas).  Marie-Louise was the child of Pierre-Joseph DURAND and Geneviève BOUCHER.

Nicolas  married  (2) Rosalie BONIN 9 August 1790 in Lanoraie, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Rosalie BONIN  was born 18 September 1764 in Lavaltrie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine).  Rosalie died 10 December 1817 in Lanoraie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Lanoraie).  Rosalie was the child of Ignace BONIN and Marie-Louise CASAUBON.

Nicolas DEMERS died 10 August 1814 in Lanoraie, Lower Canada .
