Charles was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

He married  Marie Josephe PRÉJEAN (PREGENT) abt. 1759 in Halifax, Acadie .  Marie Josephe PRÉJEAN (PREGENT)  was born 7 March 1735 in Annapolis Royal, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada / Port Royal, Acadia.  She died 15 June 1818 in Louisiana, USA.  She was the daughter of Charles PRÉJEAN (PREGENT) and Françoise BOUDROT (BOUDREAU).
