Jean-François  married  Marie-Josephte MIGNIER dite LAGACÉ 13 January 1766 in La Pocatière, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Josephte MIGNIER dite LAGACÉ  was born 28 January 1741 in La Pocatière, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatiere).  Marie-Josephte died 29 April 1815 in Rivière-Ouelle, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-Liesse).  Marie-Josephte was the child of Bernard MIGNIER (MIGNER) and Marie-Josephte DUBE.

Jean-François HAYOT (AYOTTE) died 3 December 1816 in La Pocatière, Lower Canada .
