Louis  married  Josephe BREILLARD (BREARD) dite LAROCHE 23 January 1769 in Varennes, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Josephe BREILLARD (BREARD) dite LAROCHE  was born 9 June 1751 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Josephe died 25 February 1790 in Varennes, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes).  Josephe was the child of Mathurin BREILLARD (BREARD) dit LAROCHE and Marie-Charlotte LEMOINE.

Louis GIRARD died 5 August 1823 in Verchères, Lower Canada .
