He married  (2) Josephte DESROCHERS dite LAFRENIÈRE 19 August 1794 in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Lower Canada .  Josephte DESROCHERS dite LAFRENIÈRE  was born 13 July 1735 in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Baie-du-Febvre).  She died 27 September 1802 in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Baie-du-Febvre).  She was the daughter of Pierre-Joseph DESROCHERS and Anne-Madeleine ROULEAU.
