Joseph RACINE was the child of François RACINE   and   Marie BAUCHE (BAUCHER) (BAUCHET) and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Étienne RACINE and Marguerite MARTIN (maternal)  Guillaume BAUCHE (BAUCHER) (BAUCHET) and Marie-Anne PARADIS

He married  Madeleine PARÉ 25 November 1710 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canada, New France .  Madeleine PARÉ  was born 14 January 1691 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  She died 28 March 1720 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  She was the daughter of Joseph PARÉ and Marie-Magdelaine BERTHELOT dite LELOUTRE.

He married  (2) Marie PLANTE 6 November 1725 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 9 children. Marie PLANTE  was born 6 August 1700 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean).  She died 17 January 1761 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  She was the daughter of Thomas PLANTE and Marie-Marthe PAILLEREAU.

Joseph RACINE died 16 January 1762 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canada .
