François dit Paris, son of Jean Testard and Jeanne Vignier of Beaumont in Picardie, not Paris, married Marie, daughter of Jean Doiron and Marie-Anne Canol of Minas, at Port-Royal in November 1706. Paris worked as a carpenter and a navigator. Marie gave him seven children, including three sons, but only the youngest son created a family of his own.
