He had found a rare pearl, the eighteen year old Catherine Fievre, a Daughter of the King. Her deceased father, a Potevin from Saint-Andre de Niort, went by the first name of Fiacre and her mother was Jacquette Dusol...on the following 10 November, in the church of Notre-Dame de Quebec...Catherine and Charles were united for life in the bonds of holy matrimony..."
