Jean-François SÉVIGNY dit LAFLEUR  was born 4 July 1721 in Neuville, Portneuf, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales).  Jean-François died 6 September 1814 in Sainte-Croix, Lotbinière, Québec, Canada.  Jean-François was the child of Julien-Charles SÉVIGNY dit LAFLEUR and Marguerite ROGNON dite LAROCHE.
