Rene-Pierre LACROIX dit BOURGAULT  was born 6 September 1758 in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Rene-Pierre died 6 October 1821 in Saint-Ours, Québec, Canada (Immaculée-Conception).  Rene-Pierre was the child of Bonaventure BOURGAULT dit LACROIX and Angelique VARIN dite LAPISTOLE.
