Ignace TESSIER  was born 30 May 1785 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Ignace died 25 October 1862 in Sainte-Victoire-de-Sorel, Québec, Canada.  Ignace was the child of Joseph TESSIER dit MAJOR and Marie-Catherine HUS COURNOYER MILLET.
