Joseph BROSSEAU  was born 21 May 1772 in La Prairie, Québec, Canada (St-Philippe) (St-Jean-François-Régis) (La Nativité).  Joseph died 1 September 1861 in Iberville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Athanase-de-Bleury).  Joseph was the child of François BROSSEAU and Marie-Anne EMARD (AYMARD).
