According to PRDH, Fancois Hebert and Jeanne Morineau signed a contract of marriage in an undetermined place in Quebec, Canada in 1678

"Francois Hebert fell in love with Jeanne Morineau, the mother of 5 living children: Robert, Pierre, Genevieve, Charles, and Jeanne born in November 1674."

"Jeanne Morineau was born about 1633 in the town of Bournezeau in the Vendee. She was the daughter of Timothee and of Regnee Bitonne, who came to the country under the protection of the king in 1663. Her first husband Pierre Petit dit Milhomme, died on 20 October 1676 at Saint-Anne du Petit-Cap..."

"Alas! the registers of Saint-Anne and L'Ange-Gardien are silent on the subject of the second marriage of Francois and Jeanne. The only proof that remains is the marriage contract singed in the presence of Claude Auber on 2 November 1678."
