Rebecca Mary Moore, of Kingston, passed on January 8, 2018, a brilliant light in our lives was extinguished. Rebecca Mary Moore unexpectedly passed on to new life at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Rebecca was born on September 19, 1970, the third child of Mary (Provost) and Jim Moore. She grew up in Douglas and attended Douglas schools until entering and graduating from Holy Name High School in Worcester, Class of 1988. She then enrolled at UMass Dartmouth, earning a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, the field in which she excelled throughout her professional career. After college, the South Shore became her home, with Kingston providing the comforts of an old house close to cranberry bogs and the sea. Cooking was one of her passions, and she delighted in expressing her care for others with tasty and beautifully presented dishes.
