He was born on November 1st 1913 in Colchester, Vt., the son of Solomon and Mary (Hoose) Francis.

He married Jessie 'Peg' Rosabell Downs on October 17th 1933 in Hinesburg, Vt.

Together they had four children; two sons and two daughters.

He worked as a Carpenter in the Construction/ Restoring Industry and resided on Pine Shore Road in Hinesburg, Vt.

Arrangements by the Gifford Funeral Home in Richmond, Vt.

Burial was at Hinesburg Village Cemetery in Hinesburg, Vt.
