Joseph  married  Marie-Anne GODARD dite LAPOINTE 8 November 1773 in Terrebonne, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Marie-Anne GODARD dite LAPOINTE  was born 20 February 1745 in Lachenaie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-de-Lachenaie).  Marie-Anne died 28 February 1786 in Terrebonne, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne).  Marie-Anne was the child of Antoine GODARD and Madeleine DUBOIS.

Joseph CHARTIER died 1 May 1814 in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Lower Canada.
