'Nicole Philippeau waited five years before going to rejoin her husband in the same cemetery, on 12 May 1716. It was during the season of lilacs. She had died the day before, on Monday, 11 May. The burial act, preserved at Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes, recalls the presence of her sons Lambert and Pierre as witnesses.'
