1702 Death
'The epidemic of small pox 1702-1703 caused still more ravages. The annals of the Hotel-Dieu of Quebec report that the number of deaths was so great that there were not enough priests to bury the dead and attend to they dying. More than 2,000 people died in Quebec in a few months, including Marie Chretien and Robert Sigouin, husband of Claudine Chretien...'
