Michel  married  Thérèse CAYA 1 March 1813 in Nicolet, Lower Canada .  Thérèse CAYA  was born 18 January 1783 in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Baie-du-Febvre).  Thérèse died 9 September 1859 in Saint-Grégoire, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand) (Bécancour)*.  Thérèse was the child of Antoine CAYA (CAILLA) and Catherine-Antoinette VANASSE dite PRÉCOURT.

Michel BERGERON died 23 June 1817 in Saint-Grégoire, Nicolet, Lower Canada .
