François-Michel PROVOST (PREVOST)  was born 3 January 1669 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  He died 5 June 1711 in Sainte-Foy, Québec, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-Foy).  He was the son of François PROVOST and Marguerite GAILLARD dite DUPLESSIS.

She married  (2) Pierre PARIS dit FORTIN 12 February 1714 in Sainte-Foy, Québec, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 2 children. Pierre PARIS dit FORTIN  was born 4 March 1691 in Sainte-Famille-de-l'île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  He died 4 March 1746 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  He was the son of Pierre PARIS dit FORTIN and Michelle CHARLAND.
