Mr. Robert Farnam Lamb, 73, of 21 Fourth Avenue, Cheshire, Ma. died Wednesday, Sept. 29th, 2004 at his home after a 3 month illness due to cancer. Born on December 31, 1930 in Cheshire, Ma. a son of the late Everett S. and Evelyn S. Farnam Lamb. He attended schools in Cheshire and Adams, Ma. and was a 1949 graduate of the former Adams High School. Mr. Lamb was the co-owner and operator with his late Father and Brother Fred of Lambs Garage in Cheshire, Ma. from 1949 until 1986, at the garage he worked as a professional auto repair mechanic. In 1986 he went to work for Turbo Prop East at North Adams Harriman Airport as parts manager until becoming ill this past April. He had served on the board of directors at Adams Cooperative Bank and also served as chairman of the finance committee at the bank for 15 years.
