Joseph  married  Marie-Charlotte MASSE 1 February 1779 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Charlotte MASSE  was born 15 June 1759 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Marie-Charlotte died 20 August 1782 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Marie-Charlotte was the child of Charles MASSÉ and Thérèse DESROSIERS dite DÉSILETS.

Joseph POISSON died 12 April 1797 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Lower Canada .
