Jean-Baptiste  married  Marie-Josephe GODBOUT 1 February 1751 in Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Canada, New France .  Marie-Josephe GODBOUT  was born 17 October 1725 in Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Josephe died 17 February 1794 in Lachenaie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-de-Lachenaie).  Marie-Josephe was the child of Joseph GODBOUT and Marie-Madeleine BOUCHARD dite DORVAL.

Jean-Baptiste MANSEAU died 3 January 1801 in Lachenaie, Lower Canada .
