Jacques  married  Marguerite CHEVALIER dite LAVOINE 29 August 1768 in Berthierville, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marguerite CHEVALIER dite LAVOINE  was born 18 March 1723 in Mackinac Island, Michigan, USA (Fort Michilimackinac).  Marguerite died 25 April 1801 in La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas, Québec, Canada (Isle Dupas).  Marguerite was the child of Jean-Baptiste CHEVALIER and Françoise ALAVOINE.
