François  married  Marie-Angelique MAISONNEUVE 8 July 1765 in Terrebonne, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Angelique MAISONNEUVE  was born 16 August 1740 in Terrebonne, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne).  Marie-Angelique died 21 February 1786 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Marie-Angelique was the child of Jean-Baptiste MAISONNEUVE and Marguerite CHARLES.

François FORTIN died 20 August 1803 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .
