Jean GOUZY dit CARCASSONNE  was born 28 August 1788 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Jean died 3 April 1857 in Marieville, Rouville, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-de-Monnoir).  Jean was the child of Joseph GOUGY (GOUZY) dit CARCASSONNE and Elisabeth GARNIER (GRENIER).
