Joseph  married  Marie-Louise GAGNON 6 November 1741 in Château-Richer, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 3 children.
Marie-Louise GAGNON  was born 9 December 1721 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  Marie-Louise died 6 December 1758 in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Louise was the child of Joseph GAGNON and Agathe BELANGER.

Joseph ROY died 2 June 1795 in Beauceville, Lower Canada .
