Josephte  married  Alexis DIZY dit MONTPLAISIR 25 January 1761 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Canada .  Alexis DIZY dit MONTPLAISIR  was born 16 December 1732 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Alexis was the child of François DIZY dit MONTPLAISIR and Geneviève BRISSET.

Josephte DURAND died 22 April 1810 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Lower Canada .
