Jean-Baptiste MARCHAND  was born 5 September 1747 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Jean-Baptiste died 13 May 1822 in La Prairie, Québec, Canada (St-Philippe) (St-Jean-François-Régis) (La Nativité).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of Georges-Antoine MARCHAND and Ursule LABAUVE.
