Joseph VAILLANCOURT dit BROUSSEAU  was born 26 July 1773 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Joseph died 18 June 1841 in Rimouski, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur) (Saint-Germain) (Le Bic).  Joseph was the child of Charles VAILLANCOURT and Marie-Josephe GUÉRET dite DUMONT.
