Joseph  married  Marie-Agathe BINET 3 October 1786 in Saint-Eustache, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Agathe BINET  was born 6 October 1766 in Pointe-Claire, Montréal, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joachim-de-la-Pointe-Claire).  Marie-Agathe was the child of Nicolas BINET and Agathe-Amable PERRIER.

Joseph ETHIER died 10 August 1820 in Saint-Eustache, Lower Canada.
