Vincent Jean was baptized on May 26, 1658 in Aujac, in Saintonge, France. Son of cloth merchant Vincent Jean and Jeanne Gaudin, he married Gabrielle Beaune (age 14), daughter of Jean Beaune and Marie-Madeleine Bourgery, on April 9, 1687 in Lachine. From their union are born 3 children of which only 1 survives. He settled in Lachine. We do not know the date of his death, which occurred between 1691 and March 1696.
