Marie-Anne DUGAS was born 21 July 1739 in Port Royal, Acadia. Marie-Anne DUGAS was the child of Joseph DUGAS   and   Marguerite ROBICHAUD and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Abraham DUGAS and Madeleine Marie LANDRY (maternal)  Alexandre ROBICHAUD and Anne MELANÇON (MELANSON)

Marie-Anne was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

Marriage(s) and Child(ren):

She married  Joseph CHAPUT 16 November 1772 in L'Assomption, Province of Québec, Canada .  Joseph CHAPUT  was born 25 July 1729 in Varennes, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes).  He was the son of Nicolas CHAPUT and Angélique LOISEL.

Marie-Anne DUGAS died 31 October 1797 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .
