Jean Firmin VALCOURT dit MORIN  was born 12 August 1798 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Jean Firmin died 11 May 1851 in Frenchville, Maine, USA (Chateaugay) (Ste-Emilie) (Ste-Luce).  Jean Firmin was the child of Joseph Marie MORIN dit VALCOURT and Marie-Rose GUÉRET dite DUMONT.
