Geneviève  married  Joseph-Marie BRISSET (BRISSETTE) dit COURCHESNE 23 November 1772 in Louiseville, Province of Québec, Canada .  Joseph-Marie BRISSET (BRISSETTE) dit COURCHESNE  was born 15 July 1754 in Berthierville, Québec, Canada (Berthier-en-Haut) (Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier).  Joseph-Marie died 15 July 1832 in Sainte-Élisabeth, Québec, Canada (Ste-Elisabeth).  Joseph-Marie was the child of Jean-Baptiste BRISSET (BRISSETTE) dit COURCHESNE and Françoise DUTEAU.
