Agnes 'Jean' Krebs, 69, of Syracuse died Monday. Born in Manhattan, she attended Bushwick High School in Brooklyn, Onondaga Community College and Empire State College. She retired in 1997 as a public affairs specialist with the Department of Agriculture and Soil Conservation Services and then was a public relations consultant. She was a communicant of Church of the Most Holy Rosary where she was a lector, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults sponsor, newsletter editor and past president of its Mothers and Seniors clubs. A former Federal Woman of the Year, she was active in the Refugee Resettlement Program. Her husband, Francis W., died in 1996.
Survivors: Three daughters, Jean Babbles of Skaneateles, Margaret Briggs of Orchard Park and Ellen DiRienzo of State College, Pa.; four sons, Stephen of Houston, Andrew of Raleigh, N.C., John of Forked River, N.J., and Michael of Boxford, Mass.; two
