Joseph  married  (2) Catherine BOILARD 5 August 1783 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Province of Québec, Canada .  Catherine BOILARD  was born 19 November 1739 in Beaumont, Québec, Canada (Saint-Étienne-de-Beaumont).  Catherine died 16 March 1826 in Saint-Henri, Québec, Canada (Saint-Henri-de-Lauzon).  Catherine was the child of Mathurin BOILARD and Marie AUDET dite LAPOINTE.

Joseph GOSSELIN died 23 July 1808 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Lower Canada .
