Bonnie J. (McIntosh) Soffan, 67, died peacefully on March 25, 2014 at home in Indian Orchard. Bonnie was born March 22, 1947, in Springfield, MA, daughter of James and Rachelle ( Davio ) McIntosh. Bonnie thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, growing up on Lake Lorraine she was an avid, swimmer, and water skier. She enjoyed boating and fishing in the family boat Jaraboka. She learned to swim at the early age and her claim to fame was being able to swim the entire perimeter of the lake. She continued to enjoy swimming and fishing throughout her life. Bonnie graduated from Springfield Technical High School and attended Springfield Technical Institute, where she earned a degree in dental hygiene. Bonnie leaves her husband David R. Soffan of Spfld, and four children, Timothy Truman and his longtime girlfriend Cathy Hawley of Spfld., Tracy Barkett and her husband Robert of Longmeadow, Heather Truman of Greenfield, and Sabrina Denesha and her husband
